The Mighty Minds Digital Street Directory 4.2 is given away FREE* (FREE license till 31st December 2008) with the Mighty Minds Street Directory 2008 Edition - Singapore's most updated street directory.
This street directory is prepared and updated using information from satellite imagery, road survey, official sources and public feedback.
How to locate the files for installation on your Windows Mobile device.
1. Double click on the MY COMPUTER icon.
2. Look for the drive on which the Mighy Minds CD has been loaded.
3. Click on this drive with the RIGHT mouse button.
4. A pop up window will appear. Click on either the OPEN or EXPLORE option.
The contents of the CD will be displayed.
INSTALLATION ERROR
If you get an error during the installation of the Mighty Minds Street Directory 3.0, most likely it would be due to one of the errors listed below.
The Mighty Minds Digital Street Directory 4.2 (MMDSD4p2) program requires that you have the Microsoft .NET framework installed on your computer.
"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application."
'mscoree.dll' is missing from the computer"
If you receive either of these errors when starting MMDSD4p2, the most likely cause is that the machine you are using does not have the Microsoft .NET Framework installed. MMDSD4p2 requires the .NET Framework in order to launch and operate. You need to download and run the dotnetfx.exe file from Microsoft. This file can be downloaded at the following link:
Note : Windows Vista users do not need to install this component as it is already part of the Vista Operating system.

Installation on a PC
Starting installation
Double click on the INSTALL file and the installation program will start.
Read carefully and follow the instructions on each screen of the installation program.
When installation is complete, double click on the Mighty Minds icon on the desktop and the Mighty Minds Street Directory program will start.
IF YOU GET AN ERROR AND ARE NOT ABLE TO RUN THE PROGRAM AFTER INSTALLATION
The Mighty Minds Digital Street Directory Program will NOT work on your PC unless you have the Microsoft .NET Framework installed
This program from Microsoft is an added component to the operating system of your PC.
Mighty Minds does not provide technical support for installing it on your PC.
You need to download and run the dotnetfx3.exe file from Microsoft. This file can be downloaded at the following link: Microsoft .NET Framework Version 3.0
Another Way to install the Microsoft .NET framework
Open your Windows Browser (Internet Explorer).
In the menu bar, click on Tools --> Windows Update
Follow the instructions of the Windows Update Program
Note: The Windows Update program will update ALL Windows related programs/security etc.
Select the Microsoft .NET framework under the optional items section of the Windows Update program.
Installation on a Windows Mobile device
Starting installation
Go to the "PocketMMDSD4p2" directory (ON THE cd).
Double click on the PocketMMDSD3_Installer.exe file to install on a pocket pc or the PocketMMDSD3_Installer_SmartPhone.exe file to install on a Windows Mobile smart phone.
Read carefully and follow the instructions on each screen of the installation program.
The PocketMMDSD3program will be installed into the "\Program Files\PocketMMDSD3" directory.
The Map database will still need to be installed.
The Map database requires 70Mb storage space.
Please load the MMmap.bin file (on the cd in the PocketMMDSD4p2folder) into your Pocket PC or storage card.
(Please check the manual of your pocket pc or smart phone how to do this.)
After you have loaded the map database, run the PocketMMDSD4p2 program (programs\mighty minds directory), carry out the following steps to let the PocketMMDSD4p2 program know where you have loaded the map database:
1. Go to the options page (small arrow at bottom left of screen),
2. Select preferences
3. Select the options tab
4. Click on the ... button to select the directory where you have loaded the map database."
UPDATE for Pocket MMDSD version 4.2 users ONLY
Pls download and run the following updates AFTER installing Pocket MMDSD version 4.2 from the CD
Go to the "PocketMMDSD4p2" directory (ON THE cd).
RIGHT click on your mouse and select SAVE TARGET AS
When a window opens, SELECT THE DESKTOP AS THE SAVE AS LOCATION
