Installation

INSTALL MICROSOFT SILVERLIGHT ON PC OR MAC

• Install Microsoft Silverligh
• Microsoft Silverlight is designed to work on most browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari) on the Mac or PC. If you have installed Microsoft Silverlight, but still are not able to see the map or keep getting the install silverlight message, then please try using another browser like Firefox or Safari.
• PC : Right-Click the Mighty Minds DIGImap 7 icon on your desktop, then select option OPEN WITH ... and select the browser that you want to use.

INSTALL MICROSOFT SILVERLIGHT ON MOBILE DEVICE

• Insert the CD into the CD-drive. You will be asked to install the Mighty Minds DIGImap 7.
• Click CANCEL.
• Click on the START button.
• Click on COMPUTER.
• Click on the drive in which you had inserted the CD unsing the RIGHT mouse button.
• Click on OPEN.
• Double-click on the folder Pocket DIGImap 7.
• Double click on the relevant folder depending on which device you are going to install.

Printing

Due to limitations in Silverlight 3, printing of the map cannot be done in DIGImap 7. To get around this,

1. Go to the area that you want to print.
2. Go to Full Screen mode.
3. Press the PrtScn (Print Screen) key.
4. Open another graphics software (like Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Paint) and paste into that software.
5. Print from that software.

Common Problems

CERTIFICATE ERROR - Nokia Symbian 60 Handphone

Kindly check that the System date and time is updated to date. The certificate will not be recognized if the System date and time is older than the date and time which the certificate is created. If you don’t know how to do that, the instructions are as follows:
You need to do the "Configuration" under the "Apps Manager" of your symbian phone. Do the following:

1. Allow "All" software to install instead of just "Signed only".
2. Turn off the "Online certificate check"

Note: The instruction on the above webpage is for E62, the exact place to locate the "Apps Manager" is different for different phones.

CANNOT FIND MMMAP.BIN

You need to install the map database "MMmap.bin" separately.
You would need to copy the "MMmap.bin" manually to your phone as mentioned in the user manual on the CD.
